ZEISS Vision Care has launched the Myopia Insights Hub, an online platform providing regular updates and expert insights on myopia.
Described as a “go-to resource” for experts and eyecare professionals interested in myopia, the Myopia Insights Hub offers a range of features designed to keep users informed and engaged.
The ‘Newsticker’ section presents the latest findings from ZEISS’ research and development efforts, including studies on the efficacy of its ZEISS MyoCare portfolio.
The hub also includes an ‘Articles and Insights’ section, featuring contributions from leading myopia experts such as Professor Padmaja Sankaridurg, head of global myopia management at ZEISS.
In her articles, Prof Sankaridurg explores the economic and social implications of myopia, discusses its ocular complications, and provides an overview of demographic trends and global forecasts. She also offers practical advice on developing effective practice models for myopia management.
Additionally, the Myopia Insights Hub provides access to resources from the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) and showcases ZEISS Vision Care posters presented at the key industry conference. These resources summarise research that underscores the effectiveness of the ZEISS MyoCare portfolio.
The platform also features an ‘Ask an Expert’ section, allowing users to engage directly with leading professionals in the field of myopia.
“With the launch of the Myopia Insights Hub, ZEISS Vision Care aims to support eyecare professionals navigate myopia by offering a centralised source of reliable and up-to-date information,” the company said.
