ZEISS, a global leader in the optical and optoelectronic industry, has announced the launch of ZEISS Safety Eyewear in collaboration with Ugly Fish Eyewear.

A media release said the new offering combined ZEISS’s trusted lens technology with the premium quality, durability and style of Ugly Fish frames, delivering certified protective eyewear that meets the highest safety standards.

It said all ZEISS Safety Eyewear was delivered with certification to the Australian/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS1337.6:2012, ensuring premium protection and peace of mind for wearers.

Manufactured in ZEISS’s state-of-the-art laboratory in Tonsley, South Australia, each pair of ZEISS Safety Eyewear is crafted with advanced technology and subjected to rigorous quality control.

ZEISS said the facility, located within the Tonsley Innovation Hub, operated with 100% green energy and zero waste, reflecting its dedication to sustainability.

The process from placing an order to the finished product typically takes just eight working days, it said, thanks to ZEISS’s efficient operations across its three laboratories in Australia and New Zealand: Tonsley (South Australia), Caloundra (Queensland), and Avondale (Auckland).

Ms Trisha Rogers, national sales manager for ZEISS Australia, said: “The best feature of ZEISS Safety Eyewear is that customers can choose the same ZEISS lenses they rely on in their clear spectacles and have them fitted into their safety frames. This means they don’t have to compromise on vision clarity or quality while staying protected.”

ZEISS said that by stocking its Safety Eyewear, practices gain access to premium-quality protective solutions backed by ZEISS’s trusted innovation.

Those keen to know more can contact their local ZEISS business development representative or ZEISS customer service on 1800 882 041 AU / 0508 765 271 NZ.
