ZEISS is ‘delighted’ to return to face-to-face interaction with ophthalmologists at the recent combined NSW RANZCO and Ophthalmology Updates! annual scientific meeting.
It was the first in-person staging of this event after three years of COVID challenges.
The theme of the meeting this year was “Changing Landscapes of Ophthalmology” and was aimed at highlighting the latest advances in the ophthalmic specialty and demonstrating how these apply to regional and remote ophthalmology in addition to urban practice.
“In keeping with the theme of the meeting, ZEISS was demonstrating our own significant advances in technology. The newly launched QUATERA 700 phaco system attracted particular attention, with customer feedback on the unique Zeiss patented QUATTRO Pump being overwhelmingly positive,” the company said.
“Furthermore, the potential combination of QUATERA 700 and the new CT LUCIA 621 lens was considered by many attendees to be a compelling proposition.”
Also proving popular throughout the meeting were the IOL Master 700 SWEPT Source Biometry, VISULAS green laser with new SLT treatment, best-in-class OCT CIRRUS 6000, CLARUS ultra-widefield imaging and software solutions offered by FORUM Retina Workplace, EQ Workplace and Glaucoma Workplace, ZEISS said.
