Cataract management will be the focus of a weekly live webinar series hosted by Zeiss commencing next month, featuring presentations from prominent Australian ophthalmologists and a clinical optometrist.
Beginning 21 July, eight expert speakers including Associate Professor Michael Lawless, Dr Matt Russell and Dr Aanchal Gupta, among others, will share their experiences across four sessions on successful cataract management and other important surgery planning considerations.
The hour-long webinars will be held on Wednesday nights at 7pm (AEST) across four consecutive weeks. Each will be hosted by Dr Rachel Duthy, clinical partner specialist at Zeiss Australia and New Zealand.
The sessions include:
21 July – A/Prof Michael Lawless & Dr Aanchal Gupta – Insights into central topography validation and its role in decision-making processes in cataract surgery.
28 July – A/Prof Michael Goggin & Dr Ben LaHood – Mastering refractive outcomes: knowing your outcomes in order to improve them.
4 August – Dr Matt Russell & Ms Inez Hsing – Eliminating inefficiencies and minimising risks in cataract surgery with Zeiss EQ Workplace.
11 August – Dr Ben Connell & Dr Georgia Cleary – IOL power calculation: which formula to choose? Insights into IOL formula considerations.
