Wyndham Clinic Private Hospital Day Surgery in Melbourne’s west has appointed experienced health leader Ms Frances Jordan as CEO and director of nursing (DON).
“After 10 years servicing the fast-growing Wyndham community, Wyndham Clinic Private Hospital Day Surgery has a new future-focused CEO/DON and revitalised leadership team who are welcoming new physicians and investing in the day surgery operations,” the hospital announced.
Jordan, a Werribee local with leadership experience in the health sector in Victoria and New South Wales, is ensuring the hospital is open for business to clinicians who are seeking a first-class service for their patients.
“Frances and her team’s approach is to work closely with ophthalmologists to deliver the equipment and support team required for high volume efficient practices in the modern theatres at Wyndham Clinic,” the hospital said.
The hospital said Jordan has met with many specialists who like the fact that, as a smaller operator, Wyndham Clinic can offer competitive uninsured rates for the many patients in the west who do not have private health insurance but need cataract and other ocular surgery.
“The hospital offers wonderful facilities and a very experienced and skilled team, located opposite the Werribee Mercy Hospital and with hundreds of specialists in the area,” Jordan said.
“I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the refreshed can-do attitude of the team and opportunity here.”
