Eight research students presented overviews of their research and gave progress reports of their work. The evening programme was opened to UNSW alumni and the Rupert Myers Theatre hosted a near-capacity audience of optometrists, graduate students, and school staff. The evening was part of the school’s Annual Progress Review Conference for higher degree research students, their supervisors, and a review panel consisting of many of the acadic staff, staff from the Centre for Eye Health, and staff from the BHVI.After a brief introduction by Prof Fiona Stapleton, head of SOVS, the floor was turned over to Dr Blanka Golebiowski, chairman of the review panel, who was MC for the programme.
