‘Talking Eyes’, a new Australian podcast, will explore the research initiatives aimed at “revolutionising vision care”.
Hosted by Darwin-based optometrist Ms Lien Trinh, the first season will spotlight the translation of retinal research into clinical practice.
She created the podcast due to a “lack of accessible resources” for best clinical practice.
“We’re thrilled to launch ‘Talking Eyes’ and offer listeners an inside look into the dynamic world of retinal research,” she said.
The guest lineup ranges from scientists to patients to spark meaningful conversations around vision health.
Guests include Associate Professor Lauren Ayton, head of the Retinal Gene Therapy Unit at the Centre of Eye Research Australia (CERA) and Mr Mark Cushway, co-founder of ophthalmic magazine Mivision.
