For the sixth consecutive year, Specsavers has been voted as the most trusted optometry brand in both Australia and New Zealand, as recognised by Reader’s Digest Magazine in its 26th annual survey.
Announcing the news, Specsavers was proud to be the brand consumers trust most for their eye health needs. The win highlights the continued confidence they had in the network’s commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible, and affordable eyecare, the company said.
“We’re thrilled to have been named the most trusted optometry brand in Australia and New Zealand for the sixth year running,” said Dr Ben Ashby, clinical services director for Specsavers ANZ.
“Specsavers is committed to providing our customers with a mix of greater choice, high-quality, accessible, and affordable care. Receiving such fantastic feedback from this prestigious consumer survey is a great reminder that we’re on the right path – and it’s something we’re truly proud of.”
Dr Ashby added that trust was built “from the ground up”.
“Our customers rely on us for expert eyecare delivered by highly qualified local optometrists,” he said.
“Being consistently recognised in this way shows we’re making a real impact. Every Specsavers team member – from our store partners to support office staff – plays a vital role in earning and maintaining the trust of our customers.”
The 2025 Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Brands survey also acknowledged EssilorLuxottica-owned OPSM and Laubman & Pank as ‘highly commended’ for the optometry category in Australia.
The survey is conducted through independent market research, gathering the views of 4,300 Australians and 1,800 New Zealanders across a wide demographic. Respondents are asked to rank brands they trust most across 68 categories in Australia and 67 in New Zealand.
