SMS Healthcare is rebranding to Clearsight, which the organisation said reflected its evolution into a leading premium ophthalmology network delivering integrated specialist eyecare across Australia’s east coast.
The company said the new brand represented Clearsight’s commitment to changing lives by restoring and preserving vision through expert care, combining clinical excellence with a deeply human approach to patient experience.
“Clearsight reflects the future of our organisation – connected, patient-centred and focused on delivering exceptional outcomes,” said Scott Bell, Clearsight chief executive officer.
“As our network continues to grow, we remain committed to providing world-class ophthalmology care with compassion, innovation and collaboration at its core.”
A connected network of specialist eye care
Clearsight supports a growing network of vision clinics, laser surgery centres and day hospital facilities across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. It said this network delivered seamless care across diagnosis, treatment, surgery and ongoing management.
“With 28 clinic locations and more than 60 doctors specialising in over 20 eye conditions and treatments, Clearsight provides comprehensive ophthalmology services including cataract surgery, laser vision correction and specialist retinal care,” the organisation said in a press release in June 2026.
More than 200,000 procedures have been performed across the network.
Services include cataract surgery, dry eye treatments, glaucoma treatments, corneal transplants, blepharoplasty and refractive lens exchange.
The rebrand also reinforced the organisation’s collaborative approach, supporting ophthalmologists, clinic teams and referring optometrists to deliver outstanding patient care and experience, it added.
“Guided by compassion, collaboration and professional excellence, Clearsight aims to set a new benchmark in sophisticated, integrated eyecare – enhancing vision and quality of life in every community it serves,” the company said.
The Clearsight brand will roll out progressively across clinics and patient communications throughout 2026.
