The initiative was launched at a well-attended event at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Sydney’s Darling Harbour on 30 June. Most of the audience were children and their parents and several chests of glittering treasures were around the venue as were some pirate-thed games. The children needed no invitation to get involved.
