The mEYE World Photographic Competition provides an opportunity for eye-care practitioners to help raise awareness of macular disease in their communities. Macular Disease Foundation Australia has undertaken an extensive campaign to promote the photographic competition and has supported eye-care practitioners in sharing the initiative with their patients.
Entrants submit a photograph that represents the the ‘See my World’ along with 30-60 words that explain how their photograph captures that the. Entries are judged on their creativity, composition, content and technique. Entries close on 8 Septber with winners announced on 12 Novber. There are four categories: general public, macular disease community, health-care professionals and juniors.
