Complimentary registrations have opened for Vision Eye Institute’s (VEI) second instalment of its 2024 national webinar series focusing on ophthalmic referrals.
On 4 September, VEI ophthalmologists will discuss when to refer and what to include for general, pre/post cataract, paediatric, glaucoma and neuro-ophthalmology cases. VEI said the webinar’s theme was chosen based on attendee feedback from previous CPD events.
Dr Rushmia Karim, a paediatric subspecialist, with expertise in neuro-ophthalmology and cataract, lens strabismus surgery in both adults and children will address referring paediatric and neuro-ophthalmology cases in her presentation.
Dr Jack Kane, an internationally renowned cataract surgeon and comprehensive ophthalmologist, will discuss problems after cataract surgery, when to refer and what to include.
Meanwhile, A/Prof Tim Roberts, a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney and consultant ophthalmic surgeon at the Royal North Shore Hospital, will explore cataract, glaucoma and general referrals.
