About the role:
An increase in surgical activity has presented a wonderful opportunity for an experienced registered or enrolled nurse to join our highly regarded and respected nursing team. The role, offered on a part-time or casual basis, will see you working collaboratively within a multi-disciplined clinical team supporting the patient though all stages of their surgical treatment.
About you:
You will be an experienced registered or enrolled nurse, with a demonstrated passion for quality patient outcomes and experience. You will have a can-do attitude, will be team focused and always willing to go the extra mile.
You must have:
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Compliance with ACSQHC national standards
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise within a dynamic work environment
Ideally you will have:
- 2-3 years of perioperative, anaesthetic or recovery experience
- Demonstrated learning mindset
- Superior attention to detail
Of high regard will be:
- Experience in an ophthalmic theatre setting, cataract and vitreoretinal surgical techniques
