ProVision is offering independent optometrists across Australia the chance to win a high-impact marketing tool – a professional video shoot with creative agency Flabbergast, valued at more than $3,590 – to mark the launch of its new social media platform, ProSocial.
The promotion, open until 28 April 2025, invites all eligible independent optometry practices, excluding those in the ACT, to register online for a chance to win a half-day videography package.
ProVision said the prize includes professional on-site filming using high-definition cameras, audio and lighting equipment, and drone footage where appropriate.
The winner will receive a pre-production planning session, a tailored storyboard and shot list, and two rounds of post-production revisions to produce a 2–3 minute video ready for digital use.
The campaign highlights the growing importance of video content in connecting with patients online, said ProVision.
As optometrists navigate an increasingly digital landscape, a well-produced video can elevate a practice’s visibility, build trust with potential patients, and support new patient acquisition efforts.
The competition coincides with the debut of ProSocial, ProVision’s initiative to help independent practices simplify their social media presence.
Designed exclusively for members, the platform offers access to a steady stream of professional content, including video and imagery, customisable Canva templates, and supplier content – all tailored for optometry.
For practices struggling to keep up with the demands of content creation, ProSocial is designed to make social media faster and higher impact, while freeing up time to focus on patient care.
Entries for the video competition close at 5pm AEST on 28 April. Terms and conditions apply. Those keen to know more can visit optom.provision.com.au/videopromo.
