ProVision has launched ProIntel, a comprehensive benchmarking and practice performance system for independent practices.
The system, unveiled at O-SHOW24 from 17-18 May in Sydney, garnered a positive response from existing ProVision members and attending independent optometrists at the trade fair.
ProIntel organises data such as KPIs, sales based on product type, consultations and business progression in an accessible, dashboard report with 24/7 mobile access.
With clear visualisation of data, the system is said to help independents easily identify areas of weakness and opportunity.
Mr Andrew Parker, business systems manager at ProVision said ProIntel received a flood of positive feedback.
“Many had been wanting a system like ProIntel for quite some time, and it was more comprehensive than attendees were expecting.”
The tool was said to be born out of an industry need for the system, with practices wanting to make fact-based rather than intuitive decisions.
“Attendees were impressed with the amount of time they would save using the system, as well as the confidence boost it would give them to make evidence-based decisions,” Parker said.
Optometrist Mr Andrew Bowden from Envision Optical in Queensland said the tool is invaluable in maximising practice productivity – and data organisation is streamlined.
“I can get a quick snapshot of top sellers to plan stock, or drill down into individual team member sales to look at productivity and performance improvements. It couldn’t be simpler,” he said.
Parker said practices can pinpoint how patient demographics such as age, location, health fund and gender directly impact sales and clinical billing, and use these insights to launch targeted marketing campaigns or boost productivity.
“The possibilities are endless, so we’re really excited to see what ProVision members do with this new capability.”
