Ilsa Hampton – Optometry Victoria South Australia
Optometry Victoria South Australia (OV/SA) CEO Ms Ilsa Hampton is stepping down from the role. Following on from OV/SA members overwhelmingly voting ‘yes’ for an integration with Optometry Australia, OV/SA no longer requires its own CEO, which has been a bittersweet success for Hampton. “I have greatly enjoyed my time at OV/SA, working with a wonderful team, getting to know optometry and our partners in eye health. Apart from the hundreds of individual conversations I have had with our members from Mildura to the Fleurieu Peninsula and many places in between, in such a short time there have been many highlights,” she said.
Manny Pascual – Eyerising International
Eyerising International, which recently received TGA approval for its repeated low-level red light therapy for myopia control, has appointed Mr Manny Pascual as its Head of Operations. He comes to the role after three years as a Marketing Director at CooperVision. At Eyerising, he will be responsible for marketing and will be present at several upcoming conferences, as well as overseeing logistics and other functions now that the device can be used in Australia and other markets.
