Cameron Loveless – Device Technologies
Mr Cameron Loveless has joined Device Technologies as a product specialist in the ophthalmic technology team, where he will support diagnostic products in the Victoria Southeast region. He brings extensive expertise to this role, with 29 years of experience in the ophthalmic industry. Loveless began his career as an orthoptist and has spent the last 23 years building a career in sales and product management. “His deep industry knowledge, proven track record, and strong customer relationships will be valuable assets to the Device Technologies team and our customers,” the company said.

Karla Leyden – George & Matilda Eyecare
Ms Karla Leyden has been appointed as the Queensland professional services manager for George & Matilda Eyecare. According to the company, she brings a strong clinical foundation and a high degree of adaptability to her new role. “Karla spent several years working in a FIFO (fly-in-fly-out) capacity, providing optometric care to rural and remote communities across Australia. This role required not only clinical adaptability, but also a high degree of independence and cultural sensitivity,” G&M said. “This broad exposure to diverse patient demographics and practice models has given her a strong, practical understanding of what excellent eyecare looks like – and what it takes to support it effectively as a professional services manager.”

Reshma Seth – George & Matilda Eyecare
Regional optometrist Ms Reshma Seth has been promoted into the role of professional services manager for NSW Mid North Coast at George & Matilda Eyecare. She has been based in the Mid North Coast town of Forster for more than 20 years, and today practises at George & Matilda Eyecare for Rolfe Optometrists, Forster. “Reshma offers deep local knowledge, a passion for community care, and decades of optometric excellence,” the company said.

Tegan Matheson – EssilorLuxottica
Ms Tegan Matheson is starting a new position as eyecare senior manager for Australia and New Zealand at EssilorLuxottica. After previously serving as country eyecare manager New Zealand, based in Auckland, she was then appointed into the role of senior professional services manager NSW/ACT in 2024. Now, in her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing direct-to-consumer eyecare strategy and hopes to expand her impact in advancing eyecare excellence across ANZ.

Skye Cappuccio – Allied Health Professions Australia (AHPA)

Jacqueline Orr – ZEISS
Ms Jacqueline Orr has commenced in the role of product specialist, surgical ophthalmology in New South Wales. With a background in ophthalmic sales combined with orthoptic clinical experience, the company says she will bring a deep understanding of ophthalmic procedures and patient care, as well as “an exceptional level of clinical and educational support”.

Alison Fournaris – ZEISS
Ms Alison Fournaris has commenced in the product specialist, surgical ophthalmology position in Victoria. With 20 years of ophthalmic industry experience, her background in orthoptics and ophthalmic sales will ensure she can build strong, collaborative partnerships and deliver ZEISS’s innovative technologies across Victoria, the company said.
