Paediatric vision care retailer, Speckles, has announced the launched of its Hide&See Eye Patches for children which will be available in Chemist Warehouse stores across Australia and online.
Founded by orthoptist Ms Madeleine Scavone, Speckles aims to redefine the way kids interact with vision care, with a product range that intends to make the process less clinical and more exciting. Speckles’ products cater to children with diverse vision needs, including solutions for amblyopia and other common paediatric vision issues.
“We’re excited to bring a touch of fun and accessibility to kids’ vision care,” Scavone said.
“Our journey has been dedicated to providing a more engaging and less daunting experience for children who require vision support. The nationwide availability of our Hide&See Eye Patches in Chemist Warehouse stores is a significant step towards achieving our brand’s core mission.”
According to the company, the collaboration with Chemist Warehouse is pivotal to Speckles’ expansion strategy.
“Our products are designed to make a tangible impact on how kids perceive and engage with their patching treatment for amblyopia,” Scavone said.
“We’re dedicated to breaking the stereotype of clinical, intimidating eyecare by introducing a range of fun, affordable, and effective solutions that resonate with kids and their families.”
Speckles is also partnered with Sightsavers to raise awareness and avoid preventable blindness. Sightsavers is a charity that improves access to eyecare and treatments disadvantaged populations and promotes equality for people with visual impairments and other disabilities.
