We’re looking for an Orthoptist (or a highly skilled Ophthalmic Assistant) to join our fantastic Rivercity Private Hospital team in Auchenflower, QLD. The role is part time with a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight available.
Dr Mark Loane leads a highly experienced team at Vision Eye Institute Brisbane in diagnosing and treating cataracts, glaucoma and retinal and corneal conditions. He also sees patients with a range of more general eye conditions.
Our clinical team includes optometrists and ophthalmic technicians and, together with Dr Loane, they pride themselves on delivering the highest standard of eye care to all patients.
In this role you will undertake Patient’s ophthalmic and medical history/Orthoptic assessment and perform investigations such as visual field testing, OCT and angiography.
To be successful in this role you will bring excellent clinical skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail as well as an Orthoptic/Optical qualification and current Australian Orthoptic Board registration.
