Retinal imaging company, Optos, will showcase its ‘industry-leading’ technology at O-SHOW24 from 17-18 May.
Located on booth 11 in Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, the company is set to exhibit its Monaco and Daytona ultra-widefield retinal imaging devices.
The Daytona produces a 200° single-capture optomap retinal image of “unrivalled” clarity in less than half a second.
“This fast, easy, patient friendly, ultra-widefield imaging technology was designed for healthy eye screening and has been shown to improve practice flow and patient engagement,” the company said.
According to Optos, the Monaco system is the only ultra-widefield retinal imaging device with integrated spectral domain OCT. It produces a 200° single-capture optomap image in less than ½ second and provides cross-sectional 40° OCT views of retinal structures.
The company, which is said to be the only provider of single-capture ultra-widefield retinal imaging, boasts nine imaging modalities available across all device platforms, including the recent addition of optomap colour rgb, natural colour imaging modality and optomap blue fundus autofluorescence.
Its combined imaging devices integrate ultra-widefield retinal imaging with optomap-guided OCT to provide clinicians with comprehensive insights into retinal health.
“Optos has redefined the standard for comprehensive imaging beyond traditional constraints, crucial for diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions that otherwise may go undetected and undiagnosed,” the company said.
Optos technology is said to streamline workflow and enhance practice efficiency without compromising quality.
“The commitment to patient and user-friendly solutions continues to drive modernisation and excellence in ophthalmic imaging, ultimately improving patient outcomes and enhancing practice efficiency worldwide,” the company said.
“Learn more about the gift that keeps on giving with an Optos device that helps future proof a practice through the provision of advanced retinal eye scans. Do your future self a favour, grow customer retention and improve your bottom line with our cutting-edge technology.”
