Optos is connecting with eyecare professionals across Australia at two major events in September, when it will showcase the benefits of ultra-widefield retinal imaging and how it is transforming patient care.
The company said the first event would be in Hobart with Tasmania’s Lifestyle Congress (20–21 September), a meeting that attracts practitioners from across the state and beyond.
Delegates will have the opportunity to see how optomap technology captures a 200° view of the retina in a single image.
This wider view helps practitioners detect and manage a broad range of conditions more confidently, while also offering patients a faster, more comfortable examination experience, it said.
The following week, Optos will head to Queensland for Optometry Australia’s Cairns Interactive (27–28 September), known for its highly engaging program that combines clinical learning with practical applications.
At the Optos stand, attendees will be able to explore how ultra-widefield imaging integrates into everyday workflows, from supporting earlier diagnosis to strengthening patient communication and improving referral efficiency.
The company said both events underlined Optos’ commitment to supporting the optometry profession through education, technology, and collaboration.
By participating in regional and national conferences, Optos provided opportunities for practitioners to learn, share experiences, and access the latest innovations in imaging, it said.
Delegates attending either Tasmania’s Lifestyle Congress or Optometry Australia’s Cairns Interactive were encouraged to visit the Optos stands to see the latest advancements and discover how ultra-widefield imaging can enhance both patient outcomes and practice success.
