O=MEGA PREVIEW: The Optos Monaco device will be unveiled to Australia’s optometric market for the first time at O=MEGA.Monaco – first launched to Australia’s ophthalmic sector in Novber – is the first ultra-widefield retinal imaging syst combined with OCT.The device produces a 200° single-capture optomap image in less than half a second and also provides cross-sectional 40° OCT views of retinal structures. According to the manufacturer, the unique nature of the compact two-in-one model should improve practice efficiency and generate increased clinical data.For the first time the company will also offer Optos Advance on-booth training.
