About the opportunity:
Eyecare Plus Revesby now has a vacancy for a part-time Optometrist, with the potential to grow the position to full-time.
Our clinical team will support you to provide full-scope optometry.
You will need to:
- Demonstrate ability in providing outstanding patient care
- Exercise discretion and confidentiality with all patient information
- Follow proper Optical Centre, general safety and security procedures and standards
- Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees and suppliers.
About you:
You will work alongside fellow skilled clinicians and build your network.
You value interacting with other professionals and thrive on working in a supportive culture founded on teamwork, integrity, and social responsibility.
To be successful in this role you have the following attributes and requirements
- Have successfully completed appropriate tertiary studies in Optometry.
- Be registered and licenced with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency / Optometry Board of Australia.
- Work with latest equipment (OCT / Retinal Camera and visual fields)
- Enjoy working in a team that is performance driven and supportive at the same time
- Strong knowledge and understanding in all areas of general Optometry
- Exceptional communication and patient care skills
- Ability to take initiative and know when to ask for help
- Adaptable, open to coaching and quick to learn
- Outstanding time management skills
