The new REVO HR is a combination OCT/Fundus camera that operates at 130,000 scans per second whilst delivering a resolution of 3 microns.
A statement supporting the launch said: “Whilst most leading global OCT manufacturers are working towards this new shift in high-resolution technology, Optopol is once again leading this innovation.
“The REVO HR is a powerful tool to optimise precision and accuracy and improve the detection of even the finest lesions.”
The statement said new, emerging therapies required 3 microns resolution for the development for bio markers to both study drug efficacy and determine treatment regimens.
“To better visualise the cellular microstructure level and understand the processes in the living retina, high resolution, non-invasive OCT and Angio OCT is paramount.”
