Optical illusions raise awareness of importance of eye tests

The ‘Do You See What I See?’ initiative, which is being conducted in partnership with Bayer Australia and supported by the Macular Disease Foundation Australia, is designed to rind people to ‘look twice’ to ensure they are seeing the real picture.EyeQ executive chairman Mr Ray Fortescue, himself an optometrist, said he was particularly keen to get involved.“We’re creating a lot of awareness in these local communities about the importance of regular eye tests which is great not only for EyeQ but for the industry as a whole. Local Mbers of Parliament, patients and local media have all jumped on board to help make this happen,” he said.Fortescue says the campaign – which will run in nine EyeQ practices until the end of Novber – is designed to reinforce EyeQ’s position as “experts in eyecare”.CAMPAIGN GALLERY
