Nay-Sayers have been proven wrong; ODMA|2013 in Brisbane is proving to be a success, both from the perspective of eye-care practitioners and exhibitors.
The CPD sessions for optometrists have been well attended and wrapped up today. The master class sessions were also a resounding success – these were full to capacity.
The exhibitor booths are large, bright, shining and eye catching. The product ranges inspiring and expansive. Visitors mill about the aisles in groups – arms loaded with colourful bags of all sizes brimming with goodies from many stands. The trend this year has been alcohol served on stands such as Zeal, Maui Jim and FLEYE with visitors catching up over a glass of bubbles or stubby of beer. Coffee, a past favourite, has not proven to be so popular this year with exhibitors.

ODMA|2013 is usually the most pivotal date in most suppliers’ calendars, so visitors have been spoiled with an array of new products, technologies and services that have been incepted since the last ODMA expo.
ODMA|2013 is certainly proving to be all it promised to be? and more! The more, dear reader, is truly spectacular Brisbane weather which the southerners are lapping up.
