Optical Dispensers Australia (ODA) has announced its first overseas conference, to be held in partnership with HOYA, bringing together eyecare professionals for a weekend of education, connection, and culture in Fiji.
The two-day event will take place from 25-26 July 2026 at the Tanoa Waterfront Hotel in Lautoka, Fiji, and promises a balance of professional development and island hospitality. Delegates can look forward to engaging lectures, hands-on workshops, and ample opportunities to relax and network against the backdrop of Fiji’s tropical scenery.
The conference is open to all eyecare professionals – from optical dispensers, dispensing opticians and assistants, to optometrists, ophthalmologists, orthoptists, students and beyond.
Accommodation is available onsite, with special conference rates for bookings made before 31 December 2025. More details are available at odamembers.com.au/fiji2026.
Non-members are also welcome to attend, though ODA members will receive discounted registration and access to an exclusive members-only excursion.
Members will also automatically receive ODA CPD points for attending each day of the conference, while New Zealand dispensing opticians can earn ODOB-accredited CPD credits per individual session.
ODA said it looks forward to welcoming attendees to Fiji for what promises to be a memorable and rewarding event that “unites learning, networking and the spirit of connection.”
