OAA’s federal budget wish list calls for $33-36 million over 3-4 years

The association is calling on mbers to lobby their local federal MPs as part of its campaign; particularly in regard to the present cap on fees they may charge as Medicare participants.However in the present economic climate, with the federal government battling to maintain office in the forthcoming election on 24 Septber and being subject to taunts about its managent of the economy, particularly over its discarded commitment to a surplus in the 2013-14 budget, cost cutting is the order of the day.
