New Melbourne conference in May: 28.5 CPD points

Our aim is to develop a program that will interest all eye-care professionals and as such, we have invited speakers who specialise in a wide range of ophthalmic conditions. There should be something on the program for everyone. We understand ourselves that it can be difficult to find the right work-life balance, so we wanted to maximise what could be achieved in a day, keep the cost to a minimum but have content that was educational and interesting. In the time since he has worked in a wide variety of optometry modes and practices including owning his own practice, behavioural optometry, contact-lens practice and public-health optometry. He has been a state president and national councillor of Optometrists Association Australia. Since 2001 he has been working in the field of refractive surgery, during that time he has developed an interest in safety in refractive surgery and developing relationships amongst eye-care professionals.Carolyn Terry graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1997. She has experience in private practice and clinical research, however much of her time since graduation has been spent in co-managent roles. She has a particular interest in cataract and refractive surgery, having co-authored two book chapters on the topic of astigmatism and laser corneal surgery. More recently she has been interested in the analysis and improvent of outcomes in refractive surgery.
