Queensland company iOrthotics, which makes custom-made orthotic devices for podiatrists, has taken out the inaugural Innovation in Health Technology category of the 2026 Endeavour Awards.
It beat a strong contingent of nine other finalists which included CR Labs, a leading developer of advanced ophthalmic lens technologies. The company’s inclusion highlights the growing role of Australian manufacturers in developing cutting-edge solutions for eyecare and medical diagnostics.
Presented annually by Manufacturers’ Monthly magazine and website, and held in collaboration with Australian Manufacturing Week, the Endeavour Awards honour the achievements of outstanding individuals and organisations who are driving Australian manufacturing forward.
More than 250 manufacturing professionals from across the country gathered at a gala presentation in May at the Westin Brisbane to celebrate the leaders, innovators and rising stars shaping Australia’s manufacturing sector.
“The room was buzzing with conversation and celebration. It was fantastic to see the industry come together to recognise and celebrate such an important occasion,” said Caitlyn Douglas, head of awards and conferences at Prime Creative Media.
The 2026 Endeavour Awards winners were:

- Innovation in Health Technology- iOrthotics
- Innovation in Food & Beverage Manufacturing- BOC
- Innovation in Transport – Amtek
- Advanced Manufacturing Excellence Award – Bosch Australia Manufacturing Solutions (BAMS)
- Innovation in Aerospace – Space Machines Company
- Leader of the Year – Alan Oppenheim, Ego Pharmaceuticals
- Manufacturer of the Year – BOC.
The top accolade of the night, Manufacturer of the Year, was awarded to BOC after achieving the highest overall score in their respective category. The award recognises outstanding performance, leadership and innovation across the manufacturing sector.
