Hugh Taylor appointed president of International Council of Ophthalmology

The International Council of Ophthalmology represents and serves professional associations of ophthalmologists throughout the world. Its mission is to work with ophthalmological societies and others to enhance ophthalmic education and improve access to the highest-quality eye care in order to preserve and restore vision for the people of the world.
The ICO is composed of 120 national and sub-specialty mber societies from all over the world.Voting of president to succeed current president America’s Dr Bruce Spivey was conducted by the board of trustees in Hyderabad, India in January.
