HOYA Vision Care Australia & New Zealand has made its most premium coatings available to its fully certified prescription safety eyewear (Phoenix 1.53) lenses.
Announced on 5 December, Phoenix 1.53 will now be available with the popular 4-in-1 Full Control and Diamond Finish UV Control Anti-Bacterial alongside Super Hard Coat and VP Multi-coat.
“The availability of our most premium coatings on Phoenix 1.53 lenses means that workers requiring medium impact safety eyewear can now receive the very best all-round protection,” said Mr Craig Chick, managing director of HOYA Vision Care Australia & New Zealand.
According to HOYA, its proprietary Phoenix 1.53 lens material is medium impact certified, completely resistant to common chemicals, ultra-lightweight and yet 10 times stronger than standard lenses.
“These characteristics make Phoenix 1.53 the perfect material for safety lenses in the workplace,” the company stated.
With the 4-in-1 Full Control coating and ‘Diamond Finish UV Control Anti-Bacterial’ coating now available, HOYA said workers can benefit from having Phoenix safety lenses which are highly resistant to scratches, dirt, oil, and bacterial growth; anti-reflective; water repellent; provide all-round protection from UV light and will facilitate more relaxed vision when viewing digital devices.
Additionally, HOYA said its most premium coatings will result in clearer vision and boost lens durability.
The updated coatings on Phoenix 1.53 safety lenses will be available from Monday 5 December 2022.
