A relative newcomer to the market, the Optovue Solix OCT features ultra-high speed scanning with 120,000 A-Scans per second and a full range field of view that is wide and deep yet does not sacrifice image clarity and resolution.
BOC Instruments is the exclusive distributor for the complete range of Optovue OCT models to suit a range of requirements and budget.
“Optovue’s reputation and advancements in OCT technology sets an unprecedented level with their Solix FullRange OCT model,” a BOC spokesperson said.
Solix OCT delivers pristine images of retinal structures with up to 16 mm wide by 6 mm retinal scans, and anterior segment imaging captures the entire anterior chamber with 18 mm wide scans.
According to BOC Instruments, Solix also provides an extensive range of tools for disease management. Its proven glaucoma analytics combine structural and 3D angiodisc analysis and trend reports.
The Solix provides quantification of epithelial, stromal and total corneal thickness with the 10 mm corneal layer map, as well as fundus and external eye photography including meibography.
Tracking and Motion Correction Technology (MCT), and multi-volume merging produces OCT angiography images and AngioAnalytics with outstanding image resolution and clarity up to 18 mm by 18 mm montaged.
