George & Matilda Eyecare (G&M) has relaunched its practice acquisition program and has closed out 2020 by welcoming two additional practices.
The businesses are in New South Wales and Victoria mark a new phase of growth for the organisation, which counts itself as the third largest optometry group in Australia.
G&M was founded by current CEO and managing director Mr Chris Beer in 2016 and has grown its network to around 90 practices.
“While many businesses found themselves reacting to the ever-changing news in 2020, G&M used it as an opportunity to reset,” he said.
“We have become much clearer on who we are and who we want to be. We have always been selective in finding the right people and practices, who align to our core values.”
Looking ahead, Beer said this would be even more of a focus for the company: “Attracting the right talent to help us in our mission to help the world see better, by supporting and uniting local independent practices, to build the world’s best optometry community.
“We welcome our new practices into our community and look forward to a year of rapid growth in 2021.”
