US medical device company Visioneering Technologies (VTI) has teamed up with Australia’s Gelflex to distribute its NaturalVue (etafilcon A) Multifocal 1 Day contact lenses across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
Supplying nearly two-thirds of eye care professionals across the Australia, Gelflex is considered one of the region’s largest distributors of optical products in the ANZ region. The company officially began distributing NaturalVue Multifocal from 19 August, 2024.
Dr Juan Carlos Aragon, CEO of the ASX-listed VTI, said: “Gelflex is one of the best-known manufacturers and distributors of contact lenses in the Asia-Pacific region.
“Their focus on providing products that enhance patient health and support strong practices are the attributes that attracted VTI to the company and we believe Gelflex is well-positioned to support our growth strategies across the region.”
Gelflex managing director Mr David Masel said he was “thrilled to provide our customers with the VTI portfolio of products”.
