Independent optometry network Eyecare Plus has reinforced its digital presence with investments into various forms of digital advertising and marketing.
The investments come after the company won the Canstar Blue award three years in a row for most satisfied customers.
“[The investments] are a testament to our ‘locals caring for locals’ ethos and accreditation standards,” Eyecare Plus said.
According to the company, its branded and co-branded member practices benefit directly from its national geo-targeted efforts to increase the brand awareness of its local communities and generating new patients.
“Local small business owners and operators, no matter what industry, often struggle to juggle all the aspects of running a business and some things tend to be left to do until ‘tomorrow’,” the company said.
In 2023, Eyecare Plus said it generated and tracked close to 5,000 patient appointments from its digital presence.
A specialised marketing team working from Eyecare Plus’ head office, also offers members multi-levelled marketing services and solutions.
“‘Marketing Plus’ is our in-house digital marketing and communications support service providing practices with marketing tools including digital assets, from creation to implementation, so that members have more time to focus on their patient’s needs,” the company said.
In addition to its member practices, Eyecare Plus said its industry suppliers also benefit by being able to work with selected practices under one campaign banner. Suppliers can present a frame or lens offer specifically to the local communities of the participating practices, in a measurable and unified manner.
According to Eyecare Plus, digital advertising has proven to be an effective targeted marketing tool which the company’s group of practices can easily use to reach potential and prospective patients based on their location, interests, and demographics.
