Longerna first joined Essilor in 2005, where he held multiple strategic roles before departing to take up a position overseeing Nikon Lenses in Europe as general manager of Novisia. He then relocated to Canada to become president of Nikon Optical North America, a role he held up until accepting the COO position at Essilor ANZ.The role will entail managing Essilor’s commercial and operational teams in Australian and New Zealand, during what Longerna described as a great time for the company.“We are accelerating the release of new products, innovations and services, all
