In a move to empower independent optometry practices in a competitive landscape, CR Labs and Safilo Australia have expanded their Full Circle Program to now include designer frames from Carolina Herrera, BOSS, Under Armour, and Polaroid Kids.
Operating from CR Labs’ facility in Melbourne, Victoria, the program ensures swift and efficient fitting of selected lenses into Safilo frames, in a move to guarantee prompt delivery of personalised eyewear without compromising quality, the companies say.
The Full Circle Program has been described as a pioneering collaboration to “redefine the optical industry’s standards” between CR Labs and Safilo Australia. In addition to the newly announced frames, it now offers independent practices access to eyewear from other well-known brands such as Carrera, Kate Spade New York and Privé Revaux, fitted with ophthalmic lenses from CR Labs.
“With the inclusion of Carolina Herrera, BOSS, Under Armour, and Polaroid Kids, the Full Circle Program reinforces its commitment to providing independent optometrists with unparalleled tools to excel in the industry,” Safilo Australia senior commercial manager Ms Shiva Taghvaei said.
“It’s not just a program; it’s a partnership dedicated to empowering independent optometrists and enhancing patient experiences.”
CR Labs CEO Mr Adam Fletcher said the program was dedicated to supporting independent optometrists while meeting patient needs.
“Full Circle is about equipping optometrists with the necessary tools to thrive,” he said. “The collaboration with Safilo combines our cutting-edge optical lens technology with iconic frames from leading fashion and lifestyle brands.”
According to a statement, the Full Circle Program offers a trifecta of benefits: increased profitability, streamlined processes, and exclusive access to Carrera engraved prescription lenses. Independent optometrists can now access some of the industry’s strongest eyewear brands, including the latest additions of Carolina Herrera, BOSS, Under Armour, and Polaroid Kids, with enhanced availability of best-selling models.
Ms Toni Hotker, owner of Simply Spectacles in Western Australia, said joining the Full Circle program was “a no brainer” for her business.
“Besides the brands being already popular within the store, it happened to be paired with CR Labs who have the most amazing service,” she said.
“So now customers get fabulous brands with great lenses in a super fast timeframe. One of the best reasons for the Full Circle program is the ability to keep stock on the shelves and not have to spend time re-ordering and re-entering stock into the system. It is a huge time saver.
“Patients also receive new stock when purchasing. The ordering system through CR Labs is extremely easy to navigate and another huge timesaver.”
Fletcher said CR Labs was thrilled to partner with Safilo to introduce a game-changing program to independent optometry.
“The Full Circle program sets a new benchmark in the industry, offering an environmentally responsible supply model that drives significant savings in time and better margins,” he said.
The Full Circle Program is now available to all independent optometry practices. For further details, contact your local CR Labs and Safilo representatives or visit The Full Circle website.
