O=MEGA PREVIEW: Designs For Vision (DFV) will be introducing two new devices, as well as the I-Lid ’n Lash range of cleansing wipes and gel at O=MEGA.
The first device on show will be the new Tomey MR-6000, a multifunctional instrument that provides measurement of tonometry, topography, pachymetry, keratometry and refractive power.
Fast alignment and mode change help promote efficient workflow and the MR-6000 will seamlessly integrate with the Rodenstock autophoropter and LCD chart suite. Dry eye analysis will be added to the feature set in late 2019, and will be a free upgrade for existing users.
DFV will also showcase the I-Pen osmolarity sensor. It’s the world’s first, hand-held, point-of-care, solid state electronic diagnostic device to detect and indirectly measure the elevated tear film osmolarity levels associated with mild, moderate and severe dry eye. The company will also exhibit the I-Lid ’n Lash product range, which work to wipe clean and rove ocular debris, and hydrate sensitive skin.
In addition to I-Lid ‘n Lash regular, the I-Lid ‘n Lash Plus edition is a formulation combining sodium hyaluronate and 5% Tea Tree Oil, offering a powerful antiseptic with cleansing and hydrating properties. The stronger Pro formulation is for professional use, and works to disinfect eyelids and lashes requiring advanced cleansing.
