Advanced imaging equipment for chronic eye disease will feature on the Designs For Vision (DFV) booth at OSHOW2022, however the ophthalmic equipment supplier is expecting significant interest in its array of myopia management diagnostics.
After a long hiatus, the popular Australian optical trade show is returning 27-28 May in Sydney, with DFV set to have a strong presence showcasing instruments for multiple eyecare categories.
Popular DFV products on display will include iCare’s EIDON UWF, DRS PLUS and the NIDEK DUO OCT Fundus camera – commonly used for diabetic eye disease detection.
But amid an apparent acceleration of myopia due to COVID-19 lockdowns, DFV will place a heavy focus on myopia management too.
Myopia-optimised optical biometers will be a feature of its exhibit, including the OCULUS Myopia Master and Pentacam AXL WAVE – both featuring Brien Holden Vision Institute normative data and growth curves – as well as the NIDEK AL-Scan.
Meanwhile, DFV’s gold-standard iCare tonometer (in its three forms) will also feature, along with its usual staples, including VOLK lenses, Keeler Slit Lamps, binocular indirect ophthalmoscopes (BIOs) and handheld devices.
Other notables include the Tomey MR6000 six in one, Keratograph 5M, trial frames, lensometers, and the easy-to-use and install Vista Vision visual acuity chart, which is now featured in all Service NSW centres.
