This was followed two years later by the use of free-form technology.Eight years ago, processing automation was introduced into CR Surfacing’s manufacturing facilities, allowing for a more efficient and refined lens creation process.{{image3-a:r-w:300}}Then, earlier this year, CR Surfacing moved into a new high-tech facility to accommodate the company’s expansion.“Automation and new processing technologies will continue to be developed to produce an even [higher] standard,” Mr Fletcher stated.“CR Surfacing Laboratories continues to work closely with global design and manufacturing leaders. We have recently invested a further AU$3 million which will further put us ahead of the competition in 2017.”
