Melbourne lens manufacturer, CR Labs, is set to showcase the industry’s latest technological offerings to “advance the field of independent optometry” at O-SHOW24.
AustralisVR has been described as revolutionary in progressive lens design and will be on display at the event running from 17-18 May at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney.
“This unique technology virtually maps the patient’s gaze, offering unparalleled insight into visual behavior, aiding in precise diagnosis and ongoing treatment planning,” CR Labs said.
This allows for the creation of a customised progressive lens for each patient to “transform” their view of the world around them.
Also on display is the CR Tower – a 3D lens centering platform that is said to streamline the lens dispensing process.
The tower is said to provide precise and professional lens centration according to the patient’s position of wear. With nanometric precision, the tower measures more than 100,000 controlled points to facilitate unique personalisation and ensure maximum lens design performance.
Attendees will also have the chance to learn about CR Labs’ exclusive ‘Full Circle’ partnership program with Safilo. This flagship program allows independent practices to provide a ‘complete pair’ of lenses and frames to their customers with “industry-leading” service times.
As part of the program, practices have access to globally-renowned brands including Carrera, Kate Spade, Carolina Herrera and Boss Eyewear, while offering the “rapid service turnaround and exceptional quality” facilitated by CR Labs’ local manufacturing facility.
“The Full Circle Program underscores CR Labs’ commitment to providing comprehensive solutions that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of patients who visit independent practices,” the company said.
The latest lenses
Earlier this year, CR Labs launched the MyoME and MyoStock lenses, tailored for myopia management in children.
“With the rising incidence of myopia globally, these solutions aim to combat the growing epidemic,” CR Labs said.
Also on display, is the Avulux migraine lens which is said to offer relief and comfort to individuals who are prone to migraines and light sensitivity.
“We’re thrilled to be part of O-SHOW24 and to have the opportunity to showcase our latest innovations” CR Labs CEO, Mr Adam Fletcher, said.
“We are Australia’s largest manufacturing lens laboratory and we’re driven by a passion for delivering quality-leading products and providing exceptional service and support to independent optometry in Australia. We’re excited to meet with our industry colleagues at this event.”
Attendees can find CR Labs’ booth at Lens 3, and “experience firsthand the future of optical technology”.
