Renowned international contact lens researcher and educator Professor Philip Morgan will offer his expertise to address contact lens drop out in one of two upcoming webinars hosted by CooperVision Australia and New Zealand in August.
As part of the company’s CooperVision Academy initiative, Morgan will hold his presentation entitled: ‘Contact Lens Drop-out: New insights to defeat the scourge’ on Tuesday 4 August 7pm-8.30pm (AEST) and 9pm-10:30pm (NZT).
Morgan is considered a towering figure in the contact lens academia and is a professor of optometry and head of optometry at the University of Manchester, as well as the president the International Society for Contact Lens Research.
He’s also authored more than 200 papers, primarily relating to the clinical performance of contact lenses and the nature of the UK and international contact lens markets, and has spoken about his work in more than 30 countries.
CooperVision’s second webinar series will focus on helping optometrists, practice managers, owners and key staff in independent practices.
Entitled ‘Energise Your Practice’, Mr Tom Bowen, the executive vice president of optometric consulting firm Williams Group USA, will host a three-part presentation discussing the tools and ideas to help “supercharge growth, adapt to the current environment and thrive beyond”.
The session details include:
- Session 1: Your team at its best – Four keys to get your team on fire! – Wednesday 5 August. 7pm-8:30pm (AEST) and 9pm-10:30pm (NZT).
- Session 2: Beyond survival – Thriving in the new competitive era of eyecare (Part 1) – Wednesday 19 August. 7pm-8:30pm (AEST) and 9pm-10:30pm (NZT).
- Session 3: Beyond Survival – Thriving in the new Competitive era of eyecare (Part 2) – Wednesday 26 August. 7pm-8:30pm (AEST) and 9pm-10:30pm (NZT).
