The Therapeutic Goods Authority, although made aware of the situation, to date has taken no action to enforce an agreent it had made with the online retailer and which now appears to have been breached.
Another online retailer, which has become a major customer of the four majors, is considering whether it too will buy direct from overseas, as has been the case with Coastal Contacts/Clearly Contacts.
