Global leaders in paediatric eyecare will be heading to Brisbane next year for the 3rd Asia-Pacific Strabismus and Paediatric Ophthalmology Society (APSPOS) Congress.
The city is hosting the event from 29 June to 1 July, 2025.
The congress, which is being organised by APSPOS and the Australian and New Zealand Strabismus Society (ANZSS), will have the theme ‘Inspiring Collaboration’ and cover everything from the latest advancements in eyecare to innovative research and more.
Local congress president and RANZCO Fellow Professor Shuan Dai, says the event is an unmissable opportunity to come together and share knowledge.
“Whether you are a comprehensive ophthalmologist, paediatric ophthalmologist, optometrist, orthoptist, ophthalmic nurse or researcher, there is something for everyone.
“We’re delighted to be bringing a wealth of talent from across the world to complement our local experts to discuss the latest developments, share ground-breaking research, and explore new opportunities for improving paediatric eyecare in our region and beyond,” he says.
