Ophthalmic device distributor BOC Instruments has added new fundus camera technology to its portfolio.
Among these are the fully automated Crystalvue NFC-600 and 700 models non-mydriatic retinal cameras, which the company says can capture crystal-clear high-resolution fundus images with a single touch.
The NFC-700 is a compact stand-alone retinal camera with integrated Windows 10 touch screen tablet, and storage for approximately 100,000 retinal and anterior eye images. The NFC-600 has the same functions but is designed for enhanced portability and interfaces with any Windows PC.
Both these models feature auto-alignment, 3D tracking, auto shoot, selectable fixation targets, auto montage and an abundance of image processing features, including cup/disc ratio, digital red free and more.
Meanwhile, another BOC-supplied fundus camera, the Aurora hand-held, has a sleek modern design and delivers high quality fundus imaging with 50 degrees field of view with easy use, the company stated.
“The latest released enhanced Aurora IQ model with new high contrast optical design further enhances image quality to detect early phase retinal changes. Additional features include Autofocus and Autoexposure, integrated image quality analysis, and optional AI service,” BOC stated.
“The Aurora IQ features a clear 4-inch high quality screen display, dual charger, eye surface imaging module, and an intuitive interface with simple icons. Its portable compact size with wireless or USB connectivity makes the Aurora IQ ideal for hand-held or slit lamp mounted use for fundus and anterior eye imaging anytime, anywhere.”
The Optovue SOLIX and i-Fusion80 OCT models integrate fundus cameras with their advanced multi-functional high speed OCT systems.
