Big W has opened its first stand-alone retail optical outlet, outsidethe company’s newly-opened 164th store in the Melbourne suburb of BoxHill.
The Big W Vision optometry department was launched in 2007 to compete ona more level footing with the major optical chains. There are now 33outlets – 12 in Queensland, nine in Victoria, eight in New South Walesand four in South Australia.
