Unveiled during Myopia Awareness Week last week, the new-look website now offers a single ‘sign on’ feature, allowing users to create a unique account that provides access to online tools designed to assist eyecare professionals with the transition into myopia managent. The tools include BHVI’s Myopia Guidelines and Myopia Calculator, as well as exclusive ‘mber-only’ educational resources and infographics. Also new to the site are feature editorials and acadic blogs, authored by leading myopia managent experts and erging BHVI researchers.{{quote-A:R-W:400-I:2-Q:“Our aim is to keep the profession current in the myopia space with recent articles, innovation and acadic reviews presented in a ‘short and sharp’ format” -who:Padmaja Sankaridurg, Global Myopia Centre}}“You’ll find dynamic content that is evolving and updated regularly to help the eyecare community respond to the challenges of managing the rising myopia epidic,” Global Myopia Centre head Professor Padmaja Sankaridurg said.“Our aim is to keep the profession current in the myopia space with recent articles, innovation and acadic reviews presented in a ‘short and sharp’ format.”Officially launched in Novber, the Global Myopia Centre combines into one platform the institute’s expertise and resources in myopia research, practitioner training and advocacy. In the face of an impending crisis, the initiative also aims to continually educate and equip optometrists who are – or aspire to – manage myopia in practice.BHVI CEO Ms Yvette Waddell added: “We are delivering the most critical knowledge in myopia research, practitioner training and technology through a refreshed platform, to better assist optometrists operating in – or looking to move into – managing myopia in practice.”{{DisplayAd-T:Large Leaderboard}} .?oil?oiv?? b?vo?qmi b?? ???ul??? w?? o?i?ubo?l?i ,??l??? ?iqo?M |?do|? ??l ,m?o?l?|q ??i|?o |??oil??u?il|um ?li b?qm?v?? ???
