Bausch + Lomb (B+L) is poised to unveil a host of its latest innovations at the upcoming 16th Asia-Pacific Vitreo-retina Society (APVRS) Congress in Hong Kong.
Taking place from 8-10 December 2023 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, ophthalmologists with an interest in the vitreo-retinal subspecialty can book demonstrations with B+L to get hands on experience with its newest technology.
On the booth, the company will be showcasing SeeLuma, a fully digital visualisation system for surgery featuring the world’s first digital binoculars. The system includes intuitive user interfaces, and a design that allows surgeons to look straight at a heads-up monitor without having to twist their neck.
At APVRS, B+L will also be showing BLutein Dyes, described as its revolutionary new ophthalmic dyes range. Lutein, a natural blue light filter, is the unique common thread in the portfolio, with research showing that lutein is a safe and effective dye agent, and its antioxidant properties can further protect the retina during eye surgery.
B+L’s Stellaris Elite will be a major focus on the exhibition too. The system is described as a true combined phacoemulsification and vitrectomy machine that can support both anterior and posterior surgeries in one platform.
Finally, the company will showcase its comprehensive range of intraocular lenses.
“We invite you to test these products first-hand and witness the future of ophthalmology in action,” B+L stated.
Demonstrations on the B+L booth at APVRS can be booked here. Demonstrations are only available to APVRS delegates.
NOTE: BLutein Dyes and SeeLuma are not approved in Australia.
