Australian optical chain Bailey Nelson has opened its 50th retail store in the Castle Towers Shopping Centre in Sydney’s burgeoning northwest.
Founded in Bondi Beach 2012, the direct-to-consumer eyecare brand has positioned itself by offering what it describes as high-quality, in-house designer frames and personalised eyecare at fair prices.
The new store is located among international fashion brands, family entertainment options, dining destinations and several other services and outlets. Bailey Nelson’s business now operates more 90 stores across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Canada.
“We are very excited to be opening our 50th Australian retail store at Castle Towers. We’re a local company and are very proud to be growing our presence in this part of Sydney,” Bailey Nelson co-founder Mr Peter Winkle said.
“Sydney’s Hills District is a key strategic growth corridor for the city, and it is one of the most sought-after residential regions currently experiencing a boom in infrastructure development. Bailey Nelson will be perfectly placed here, alongside our recent opening in Hornsby, to service the large trade area at the recently expanded Castle Towers centre which is a stunning retail destination.”
Bailey Nelson Castle Towers will be run by manager Ms Michele Cook and experienced optometrist Ms Samantha Camilleri. It will offer eye tests at least five days a week, advanced retinal photography, and will feature the company’s new ‘Atelier’ collection.
The Bailey Nelson design team is based in Sydney, featuring 400 frames across 86 styles and 72 colourways. Its range is available in optical, sun and prescription sun and in various lens options.
“Bailey Nelson is eyecare without the trade-offs,” Cook said.
“Customers to Castle Towers will no longer need to choose between value, style, quality, optometry care and good service. They can have it all at Bailey Nelson. I am proud to bring Bailey Nelson’s quality frames, unique designs, and outstanding clinical care to my local area.”
